Description
A filament for end-use and functional applications
Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF+ is a carbon fiber-reinforced composite filament based on Polyamide 612 (PA612, Nylon 612). PA612 inherits the best characteristics of both PA6 and PA12, such as toughness and reduced water absorption. By adding 15 wt.% short carbon fibers with optimized length distribution, mechanical, thermal properties and even surface quality of printed parts are all enhanced.
Compared with Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF, it exhibits higher strength-to-weight ratio, better interlayer bonding quality (Z-direction strength) and better dimensional stability. After annealing, thermal and mechanical properties are improved further. PA12 CF+ is an optimal choice for lightweight and strong end-use applications, such as jigs, fixtures, and many other functional parts in the fields of manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace.

Printing Guide
Recommended Print Settings
Nozzle temperature (°C) 260-290℃
Bed temperature (°C) 60℃
Layer height (mm) 0.15-0.25 mm (with 0.4mm nozzle)
Printing speed (mm/s) 35-100 mm/s
Cooling fan On
Drying temperature (°C) 70-80℃ (with 1.0-2.0kW heating or drying oven)
Printing Notifications:
Dry PA12 CF+ at 80°C for 12 hours before printing, as having low moisture content is crucial for the quality of the final printed part.
Store PA12 CF+ filament inside Raise3D Filament Dry Box during printing to ensure the filament keeps its properties.
Brass nozzles are subject to significant abrasion when printing with PA12 CF+. Using an abrasion-resistant nozzle, such as hardened steel and ruby nozzle, is highly recommended.
After printing, it is recommended to anneal the model with support structure in the oven at 80-100°C for 8-12 hours.
For a small size model (side length <50 mm), annealing at 80°C for 8 hours is recommended; For a medium-size model (50mm<150 mm), annealing at 80°C for 12 hours is recommended; For a large size model, 100°C for at least 12 hours is recommended.
PA12 CF+ can be used as self-supporting material on a model. Please remove the support structure after annealing.

Due to the higher fiber content of PPA filaments, when printing PPA CF and PPA GF, an extra wear-resistant nozzle and extrusion system are required for a consistent printing performance. The E2CF and the RMF500 are specially designed for printing high-performance fiber-reinforced composite filaments. As such, it is recommended to use the Raise3D Industrial PPA CF filament and PPA GF filament exclusively on the E2CF and the RMF500.
