A break-away support material designed for the composite filaments based on PPA.
Raise3D Industrial PPA (Polyphthalamide)Support Filament is a break-away support material specially developed for PPA (Polyphthalamide). During 3D printing process, it creates a stable support structure, provides proper adhesion to interface with printed parts, and counteract with the warpage tendency, therefore it improves the surface quality for overhangs and cavities of the printed parts significantly; After a print is finished, the support structure can be easily removed (break-away) by hands or tools from the printed parts. This support material is more cost-effective comparing with water-soluble support material.

Recommended Print Settings
Nozzle temperature (°C) 280℃-290℃
Bed temperature (°C) 60-80℃
Layer height (mm) 0.1-0.25 mm (0.4mm nozzle)
Printing speed (mm/s) 30-90 mm/s
Cooling fan OFF
Drying temperature (°C) 80-100℃ for 4-6 hours
Printing Notifications:
It is recommended to use hardening steel nozzle and above grade nozzles.
Raise3D Industrial PPA Support Filament is sensitive to moisture and should always be stored and used under dry conditions (relative humidity below 15%).

After a print is finished, the support structure can be easily removed by breaking it away from the printed parts, either by hand or using tools. This support material is more cost-effective when compared with water-soluble support material.
